The Myths of Silicon Valley's Monopoly Magnus Grimeland, co founder and CEO of venture capital firm Antler, claims that Silicon Valley doesn't have a monopoly on tech innovation.
His assertion is rooted in his own success story as a startup founder and consultant at McKinsey. Grimeland launched Zalora, Southeast Asia's first major fashion e commerce platform, in 2013.
The experience was a trial by fire, but also a training ground for other successful founders – including the co founders of ride hailing app Gojek and wealth management startup StashAway.
